K&T Footwear was founded in 1962 by Ken Storey, a regular face at the major agricultural shows all over the country. Customer service and quality farming footwear is our top priority.

Based in Kettering within the Midlands, K&T Footwear has close links with high quality footwear manufacturers specialising in farming footwear and dealer boots.

We have an online shop but no retail premises. We can arrange to meet you locally or we travel the country for agricultural shows and market sales.

Carriage charges are included in all prices to all UK destinations (England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland).

Other destinations including the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland will incur an additional cost of £20.

We sell dealer boots for the farming industry, safety boots for construction, custom made fell boots for hill walking, town and country footwear made locally here in Northampton, the popular Australian Redback work boots and many more top brands.

We would recommend lightweight Redback work boots for comfort and Buckbootz dealerz boots for durability and dry feet on the farm.

To keep your footwear looking premium, follow these steps.

• Wash excess dirt gently with warm water
• Leave them to dry naturally
• Once they are completely dry, use a cloth to apply a generous portion of wax over all sections especially near the welt (the edge of the sole) protecting the construction of the boot.
I would recommend using dubbin, beeswax, neatsfoot oil or natural boot wax by Redback.

The most waterproof footwear we sell are the Rannoch Veldtschoen Boots, Roxburgh Veldtschoen Shoes and the Atholl Veldtschoen Dealer Boots by Hoggs of Fife. These are hand crafted in Northampton using the tradition Veldtschoen technique recognised as more water resistant than the Goodyear Welted method.

We would recommend the 'hard as nails' Goodyear Welted range from Buckbootz with triple stitched seams, ant-penetration midsoles in combination with safety toecaps.

The Nevis waterproof hiking boots by Hoggs of Fife are lightweight, breathable, flexible and robust with advanced cushioning perfect for walking.

The dealer boots from Redbacks footwear are the lightest dealer boots from our range.

Steel toe boots offer more protection than composite toe since they can handle a heavier impact. However, steel toe boots are heavier and usually do not breathe as well as composite toe, so they can be less comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

The sizing on different brands can vary slightly. Some suppliers run big and some run smaller so as a general rule we recommend going the next full size up. Contact us on 0771 503 51 31 for sizing advice.

For the farming industry, I would recommend looking out for footwear with SB (protective toecap) as a minimum requirement. Look out for S3 (anti-static, made with a protective toecap and midsole with a water repellent upper) as a minimum for construction sites.
