Redback Boots

Frequently Asked Questions

We suggest treating your Redback boots to wax every 3 months for occasional wear or once a month for daily farm use. Clean your boot leathers using wax, lightly soapy water and a sponge or brush then leave to air dry fully. Once fully dry, apply a small amount of the polish and use a cloth to spread evenly until the wax is no longer visible. You can purchase Redbacks wax here.

Redback boots do fit true to size. The leather will stretch and hold to your feet over time but if you prefer a wider fit, select a half size up.

Redback boots are great for walking in because of how light they feel and how flexible they are. The cleats offer superb grip in the mud. For mountainous terrain, we would suggest fell boots instead.

Redback boots are all hand-built in Sydney, Australia.

Redback boots have a foot smart design which encourages flexing out of the forefoot and provides stability in the heel for maximum support and control.

Dependant on usage, the lifespan of many of the regular use Redback boots we sell is about 12 to 18 months on the farm.

"Just a note to say thank you very much for the Redback boots I ordered, absolutely no trouble on the slight delay – I was just happy to receive them and they have been for their first trip out round the farm today! Perfect. Thanks once again."
